Madison Cox earned athlete of the week honors after tallying three gold medals.  The McKee, KY native opened the championships leading wire-to-wire en route to finishing atop the podium in the women’s fixed pin division.  Cox tallied a 450 with 13-12’s over the two days to notch her sixth career individual national title and her fourth straight.  The senior teamed with Jaden Taylor to earn gold in the mixed fixed pin division with a score of 864, 34 points ahead of second place.  Later in the day, Cox teamed with Kaitlyn Shields and Ela Smallacombe to tally a 3-0 record en route to her third gold medal of championships.  The trio cruised through their first two matches before knocking off Pikeville 88-71 in the finals.  Cox was also part of Cumberlands mixed equipment team that earned five points for their fourth place finish.
