Jake Sinkovics earned male player of the week honors after going 5-0 and winning the 133 lbs. weight class at the Patriot Open.  Sinkovics first defeated William Davidson of Truett-McConnell by fall at the 1:19 mark. He earned a 19-4 tech fall over Jahday Daniels of Mount Saint Joseph, before defeating Logan Robertson of WVU in a 14-0 major decision in the quarterfinals. Sinkovics then defeated Lucas Patterson of Life for an 11-0 major decision to advance to the championship match. In that match, Sinkovics overpowered third-ranked Erique Early of Indiana Tech in a 4-2 decision to claim the individual title.
