Carly Oliver earned athlete of the week honors after hitting .455 with four RBI and three runs score in the three-game sweep over #23 Campbellsville. Oliver had a pair of multi-hit games, including drawing two walks and a stolen base.  She opened the series going 2-4 with two RBI’s and a pair of runs scored.  In the second inning, Oliver notched an RBI single to help UC take a 2-0 lead before coming around to score as part of a seven-run inning.  The junior followed it up with an RBI triple in the third inning to extend the lead to 9-0.  In the second game of the series, Oliver went 2-2 with a pair of walks and scored the lone run of the game.  In the top of the third inning, the Georgetown, KY native hit a two-out single to center and came around to score three batters later as UC held on for the 1-0 win.  The junior capped off the week with a two RBI single in the seventh inning as the Patriots completed the sweep.
