University of the Cumberlands Athletics

Izzy Valles earned the women's player of the week honors after winning the 130 lbs. weight class and earning first team all-conference honors at the Mid-South Conference Championships.  After receiving a first round bye, Valles won in a 6-1 decision over Amanda Martinez of Lindenwood-Belleville in the semifinals. In the championship match she defeated second-ranked Shelby Hall of Campbellsville in a 4-3 decision to become the MSC champion.
