Sara Zampedri earned athlete of the week honors after tallying 59 kills, 40 digs, six aces, and four blocks. The freshman notched a pair of double-doubles and averaged 4.54 kills per sets. Zampedri opened the week with ten kills and six digs in the 3-0 win over Asbury. She tallied a season-high five aces in the win. The Flero, Italy native followed it up with 17 kills, 13 digs, and three blocks to knock off Shawnee State. Zampedri capped of the week with 32 kills and 21 digs as UC notched a pair of 3-0 wins during their tri-match against Rochester and Ohio Christian, including 18 kills against the Trailblazers. On the week, Zampedri had a .250 hitting percentage, while finishing averaging 3.08 digs per sets.
