Youssef Asslouj earned athlete of the week honors after pulling away from the field to win the MSC Men’s Cross Country Championships.  Asslouj paced a 23:58.3 over the 8k course, averaging 4:49.4 to cross the line first.  That time is the second fastest time in program history as the Settat, Morocco became the first Patriot to win the conference title since 2007.  His performance earned Asslouj MSC Runner of the Year honors along with being an MSC First Team All-Conference selection.  He also helped Cumberlands capture their second straight team title.
