Alina Boschuk earned athlete of the week honors after making program history at the NAIA National Championships.  The freshman crossed the line in 21:50.8 over the 6k course to place ninth overall in the individual standings.  Boschuk earned the Patriots highest individual finish in program history at the championship as she also garnered NAIA All-American honors.  Boshchuk stayed within the top ten throughout the entire race, raising as high as sixth at the 2K and 3K splits. The Ukraine native kept pushing, splitting a 3:37.7 over the next 1K. Boshchuk finished strong, splitting a 3.37.5 in the final 1K to secure the top ten finish.  Overall, UC finished ninth as a team, which is their highest finish in program history by 11 places.
