Joseph West earned athlete of the week honors after recording four podium finishes, including a trio of gold medals on the week.  West began the week by winning the 3D Regionals title in the men’s fixed pins division.  The junior tallied a 422 with 17 bonus rings to finish atop the leaderboard.  West followed that up by winning MSC 3D men’s fixed pins conference title. The Williamsburg, KY native carded a three straight bonus rings, including a 14, to secure the gold medal.  West paired with Heather Carswell to capture gold in the mixed fixed pins division.  The duo went 2-0 with a 134-123 win over Pikeville in the finals.  West closed out the week earning a silver medal as part of the men’s fixed pins team rounds.
