University of the Cumberlands Athletics

Joy Kendrick earned athlete of the week honors after terrific play in UC’s two wins.  The Albany, GA native averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game on the week.  Kendrick opened the week with a well-rounded stat line of 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals as Cumberlands defeated Union.  She followed that up with 23 points, seven rebounds, and four assists as UC defeated Miami Hamilton.  Kendrick contributions helped UC break the single game rebounding record.  On the week, Kendrick hit 63.0% from the field and 42.9% from behind-the-arc.
