Alanna Skinner earned women's athlete of the week after dishing out a pair of assists and helping the Patriots earn their first shutout of the season in UC’s 5-0 win over Asbury last Friday. With Cumberlands ahead 1-0, Skinner sent a corner kick into the box and found Emma Chambers for her first career goal in the 22’ minute. Skinner dished out her second assists in the 61’ minute as she connected with Laura Irujo off a corner kick for a goal. It was Skinner’s first career points and she also play a vital role on the Patriots backline, which limited the Eagles to three shots on goal en route to their first clean slate of the season.
