Marvin van der Made earned male player of the week honors after netting a pair of goals, including the game-winning goal in overtime, in the Patriots 2-1 win over Bethel.  Trailing 1-0, Filip Milivojevic sent a free kick into the box, which found Nemanja Jovanovic who tip it to van der Made for the equalizer in the 74’ minute.  The score remained tied until the final seconds of the first overtime when Brandon Scherr sent a cross into the box and van de Made found the back of the net for the golden goal, giving Cumberlands the 2-1 win.  Van der Made has tallied all three Patriots goals so far this season and has helped UC jump out to a 1-0-1 start.
