Box Score Winston-Salem, NC – Malik Colvin-Seldon recorded career-highs in points, rebounds, and blocks to lead the University of the Cumberlands men's basketball team to a 79-65 win over Piedmont International Saturday afternoon.  With the win the Patriots improve to 8-2 on the season while the Bruins drop to 5-5.

Colvin-Seldon led the way for the Patriots with 32 points, shooting 12 of 15 from the floor and converting eight of his ten free throws. He also added 15 rebounds, including 11 defensive boards, for his first double-double as Patriot, while blocking six shots.  Eric Duncan went 8/12 from the charity stripe to finish with 17 points, one point shy of his season-high.

Will Gary and Duncan each dished out four assist, while Taylor Gover finished with three assists and three steals.  Travon Lebranche chipped in eight points and seven rebounds in the win.

Cumberlands shot 47% from the field and made 77% of their free throws.  UC limited the Bruins 41% (19-46) shooting, while forcing 18 turnovers.

The Patriots will return to the court Thursday, December 7, when they host Miami-Hamilton in the O. Wayne Rollins Center.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live video available here and live stats available here.
