The Pats are bringing back some familiar faces that will help lead the team in 2018. Jody LeMaster also returns after being named a first team MSC All-Conference selection, a MSC Player of the Week and NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 9, 2017, and led the team in goals with 13. Sophomore Sara Randez was the MSC Freshman of the Year, voted to the MSC All-Conference second team and was named MSC Player of the Week on Oct. 23, 2017.

Coach Steve Hamilton brought in 21 fresh faces to add to the squad. When asked about the freshman, Hamilton said, "They will fit in and be able to step into numerous positions."  When ask about the team overall, Hamilton said, "This team is more talented and the depth is key to our success on the field."

Last season, the Patriots upended the 12th-ranked Eagles by a score of 4-3. Reinhardt comes off a 9-7-3 season last year and return six players from last year's squad, including four starters led by Adrien Merrilles, Gemma Hall, Jane Howell, and Jazzmyne Garcia. Merrilles was the second leading scorer on the team with 10 goals and five assists.
