The remainder of the first half saw nine more UC shots, including one from
Shara Randez with :57 remaining, which was blocked by Campbellsville defense, sending the teams into halftime scoreless.

Camara recorded a takeaway just outside the box and connected with Lopez, who made a chip shot over the keeper to put the Patriots up 1-0 in the 49'. Cumberlands backline continued their dominating performance, holding the Tigers to four shots over the next twenty minutes. With 9:38 remaining,
Emily Willoughby brought the ball down the left side and sent a cross to Lopez, who pushed it across the box to Lorca for a Patriots goal, making the score 3-0. Campbellsville had one final opportunity to get on the scoreboard with a corner kick coming in the final 2:30 of the game when Sangmin Cha sent a kick that deflect off Naia Landaluce and into the net to give Campbellsville the final goal of the night and close the match 3-1 in favor of the Patriots.
