The Patriots saw a second day of action at the Cumberlands-Union Classic, once again splitting the day similar to the first. Coming off a 3-0 loss to Lawrence Tech, UC rounded up a comeback victory over Union, 9-2, thanks to four innings of power hits.
Ahead by a narrow 4-2 margin to begin the sixth inning, the Patriots line-up exploded at the plate when offered the chance to tack on a few insurance runs. The Bulldogs put two outs on the board fairly quick but did not slow the Patriots momentum with two runners on. Cumberlands sent eight batters to the box, bringing five around the bags with singles to the outfield.
The Patriots put together the comeback win after trailing 2-1 into the fourth inning. With the bases loaded an no outs,
