KANSAS CITY, MO- The University of the Cumberlands men's bowling team received votes in the NAIA Coaches' Preseason Top 10 Poll, officials announced Thursday. UC tallied 18 votes making them the second highest vote getter among teams outside of the top 10.

Defending NAIA national champion SCAD Savannah is the number one team entering the season with 66 points and five first place votes followed by Grand View with 59 points and one first place vote.

For the Mid-South Conference only Martin Methodist is ranked in the top 10 with their 38 points having them tied for seventh place alongside Hastings. Pikeville and Marian also received votes and sit outside the top 10 with the Patriots.

Last season UC finished eighth at the ITC Sectionals out of the final 18 top teams. The Patriots return four members from the 2018-19 team and add seven newcomers to their roster.

The Patriots will open their season on September at the Ball State Cardinal Classic in Muncie, IN.
