Indianapolis, IN – The University of the Cumberlands men's bowling team competed at the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic this weekend, finishing 52nd out of 78 teams in a deep national field. The Patriots knocked down a total of 7,220 pins, collecting 4,802 pins through five team games before adding 2,418 pins in 15 baker games.
Austin Hale led the way for UC, placing 50th overall with a five-game total of 1,060 pins for a 212.0-pin average. Hale's performance paced the Patriots in traditional play.
Austin Nelson was next for Cumberlands, finishing 124th overall after tallying 993 pins across five games for a 198.6 average. Trent Smallwood followed in 173rd place with 953 pins for a 190.6 average.
Andrew Ketron provided a strong showing in limited action, placing 321st overall with 620 pins across three games for a 206.7 average. Cody Lumpkins added 648 pins in four games to finish 312th, while Owen McClure recorded 528 pins across three games to place 366th.
