th minute of play. Sasaki had the ball on the far-right side of the field just outside the 18-yard box. He took the ball past his defender to enter the box then he floated the ball to the near post. Appiah dove after the ball heading the ball into the left side netting for the goal. This marks the third time this season Appiah has found the back of the net.
Both teams had five shots in the opening period, but the Tiger were unable to get a goal of their own leaving the score at 1-0 at the halftime break.
Nathan Hart's only save of the game did come in the 40' when Campbellsville had another header opportunity, but this time Hart jumped up and caught the ball before it crossed the time.
After Campbellsville fired a pair of shots to open the first 24 minutes of the second half, they found the equalizer. The Tigers earned a corner kick on the left side of the field. They sent the ball to the back post where a CU attacker headed it in to tie it 1-1.
