Bowling Green, KY – The Patriots volleyball team has four players earning Mid-South All-Conference honors. Juliet Banks and Allyson Grava were named first team, while Kendall Arnold and Anna Blumeier made second team honors. Banks was also named Libero/ Defender of the Year, as announced by conference officials Wednesday afternoon.

Banks was the anchor for the Patriots backline all season as she led the team and the conference with 600 digs, while going over 1000 career digs halfway through her sophomore season. The Scottville, IN native averaged 5.36 digs per set, and had a .931 reception percentage. She also put in 66 assists and 35 aces. Looking at the history books, Banks moved into fifth place and moved in to second place in digs per set.

Grava has led the Patriots and Mid-South in kills all season tallying 448 of them. She is also currently 10^th in the NAIA for kills. The Goodlettsville, TN native is also tied for first in the conference in kills per set as she is averaging 4.00 per set. The junior also put in 34 aces and 16 assists. She also got the job done on defense tallying 346 digs and 38 blocks, eight of those blocks were solo. Grava also put her name in the record books with her performance. She is fifth in kills in a season and is fourth in kills per set.

Blumeier has been the other half of the Patriots dynamic duo. She has put in 392 kills this season, which is third in the conference, while sitting at 3.50 kills per set which is fifth best in the conference. The Louisville, KY native put her name into the history book as she currently sits at sixth in kills in a season. Blumeier also took home the first NAIA Attacker of the Week honors in program history. Blumeier has also came away with 22 blocks on the year to go along with her 95 digs.

Having great outside hitters, a team needs someone to set the ball for them which is where Arnold comes in. She has put in 985 assists this season and is averaging 9.04 assists per set. That assists per set number has the Lebanon, TN native sitting at fifth in the conference. The sophomore has also got it done in other aspects of the game as well. She came away with 265 digs, 35 kills, 31 aces, and 15 blocks.

UC heads into the conference championships on Thursday November 10 as the 5th seed. The Patriots are set to play Lindsey Wilson at 3:00 CT & 4:00 ET in Bowling Green, KY.
