Bowling Green, KY – Coming off a dominating performance in the triple jump at the MSC Championships, Jullia Morris was named Mid-South Conference Field Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
 
Morris set a new school and conference record with a jump of 11.86m in her third attempt of the day. Her performance garnered a first place finish by over 0.48m and First-Team All-Conference honors. This "A" standard performance was the sixth furthest jump in the NAIA this season as well.
 
The Patriots have three weekly award honorees during the indoor season. Morris has won these honors three times in this nine week span.
 
The NAIA National Indoor Championships are set to begin March 3^rd in Brookings, SD. Jullia Morris and UC look to finish the indoor season on a high note before the start of outdoor.
