Bowling Green, KY – The Patriots men's bowling team shine at the lanes and in the classroom as they have five named to the Academic All-Conference list, announced by conference officials on Tuesday. UC's five honorees are tied for third most in the MSC this year.
 
Thomas McNeal leads the way for Cumberlands, earning this honor for the third time in his career. Zach Strickland has been a recipient each of the last two years, while Thomas Bemiss, Steiner Donovan, and AJ Warner each garner their first academic accolade.
 
In addition to being named to the academic all-conference team, junior AJ Warner was also selected as Cumberlands representative on the MSC men's bowling Champions of Character team. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
 
To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 GPA and been a student for over one year.

The Patriots will attend the Conference Championships on Thursday February 10^th and compete until Saturday the 12^th in Bowling Green, KY.
