Brookings, S.D. – The Patriots indoor season came to an end on Saturday as Jullia Morris competed in the triple jump event at the NAIA National Championships. Morris was the final UC athlete set to compete on the weekend, and she finished strong with an All-American performance.
 
Morris placed seventh, earning All-American honors for the first time as a Patriot. The senior sat in 12^th place in her preliminary flight heading into her final jump. Morris stepped up the challenge with a 12.01m final jump to push her into a tie for fifth in her flight, and cementing her spot in the finals. Her jump broke the school record, and would be enough for a top-eight performance in the finals.  
 
NAIA Indoor Nationals marked the end of indoor season for the Patriots, as they had two All-American perfromances on the year. Cumberlands is set to begin the outdoor season in just two weeks as they travel to North Carolina for the UNC Charlotte Invite on March 17^th-19^th.
