Bowling Green, KY – Mid-South Conference officials named nine UC Women's Track & Field athletes to the Academic All-Conference team Friday morning. Kathryn Hunter was named Champion of Character for the Patriots as well.
 
Lauren McHan leads the way with her fourth academic honors of her career. Kinsey Forgey, Tara Todd, and Cora Stevens each earn these honors for the third time while Jenna Grogan, Taylor Warren, and Kathryn Hunter are two-time recipients. Morgan Lucason and Hannah Henage are also mentioned on the list for the first time in their careers.
 
Georgetown had the most honorees this season with 23. Freed-Hardeman was second with 15 while Lindsey Wilson had 14 athletes named to the list for third. Life earned 12 honorees while Cumberlands and Campbellsville tied for fifth with nine apiece.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.
 
Kathryn Hunter also earned a spot on the champions of character team. The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

The Patriots are set to compete in the MSC Outdoor Championship this Sunday and Monday. This meet is being hosted in Williamsburg, KY at their home track.
