Silvis, Ill.- Another solid round of play today by UC Men's Golf
Gustav Barden has him tied for 17th overall at the 2022 NAIA National Championship at TPC Deere Run.

Barden shot a two-over 73 on Thursday to put him at an even par for the tournament with a combined score of 213. He currently sits three shots away from top-10 finish at the national tournament.

The Karlstad, Varmland native began the day on hole ten with back to back pars to start the day. On the back nine, the sophomore carded a 36 (E) after recording five pars and two birdies through nine holes. On the front nine, Barden carded three birdies and a par to finish the day with a 73 (+2).

Ben Porter from Point University sits in first on the individual leaderboard after carding a three day score of 201 (-12). Keiser University sits atop the team leaderboard on Thursday after firing a team score of 281 (-3) to combine for a three-day total of 843 (-9). Dalton State is the only other team shooting under par after three rounds with a combined score of 845 (-7).

Barden will compete in the final round of the tournament on Friday, May 20 at the TPC Deere Run Golf Course in Illinois.Â
