McHan Gets 2nd Chance at Nationals

Gulf Shores, AL – Lauren McHan raced in the 3k steeplechase prelims yesterday where she did not have a qualifying finish. However, due to the officials setting the water barrier to the wrong height, McHan and the other runners from her heat were given a spot in the steeplechase finals today.
 
The senior paced a 12:07.29 time for a 17th place finish overall. This marks McHan's final race of her stellar career on the track.
 
The Patriots season has officially come to an end. UC placed second at both the indoor and outdoor MSC Championships and scored at both NAIA National Championships as well.
