Williamsburg, KY – As Head Coach Kathryn Hart heads into her 10^th season at the helm Cumberlands Volleyball, she introduces a 30-game schedule for the 2022 Volleyball season. The 2022 schedule will feature 12 home matches along with hosting the first Cumberlands Invite.

Coach Hart said, "We are excited about the upcoming season. We have a lot of tough matches, especially the three tournaments. They are going to help us prepare for a tough conference schedule".

For the fifth straight season, the Patriots will start the season in Bowling Green, KY for the Vette City Classic. While in Bowling Green, UC will take on Truett McConnell, Florida College, University of Mobile, and McPherson College on the weekend of August 19^th. Then the following weekend the team heads to Milligan, TN for the Milligan Mountain Madness Tournament. In this tournament the Pats will see St. Andrews, Keiser, Blue Mountain, and the host school Milligan. To end the month of August, UC will travel back to the Volunteer state to take on Tennessee Wesleyan on Aug 30^th.

To kickoff off the month of September, UC is set to host the Cumberlands Invite on Sep 2^nd -3^rd. Then on Sep 8^th, they will start conference play with a match against Pikeville. Which is followed by 10 straight MSC matches, starting with a trip to Ohio to take on Shawnee State on the 10^th. Next, they head up I-75 to take on Georgetown on Sep 13^th, then they have a pit stop at home for a match against Thomas More on Sep 24^th before heading to Lindsey Wilson on the 27^th and Campbellsville on the 30^th to end the month.

After a six-day break, Cumberlands return to action as they are set to host UT Southern on October 7^th and Cumberland the following day. On the 11^th, the Patriots have a one match road trip to Pikeville before returning home for two straight games. The first game is against Shawnee State on the 15^th and then on the following Tuesday Georgetown comes into town.
Before the final stint of the season, UC will go to Union for a Tri-Match against Kentucky Christian and Union on Oct 21^st. That next Tuesday UC heads over to Wilmore, KY to play a match against Asbury for the final non-conference game of the season.

The final stint will have the final away game of the season at Thomas More on Oct 28^th. Then back-to-back home games will end the regular season. On Nov 4^th the Pats will host Freed-Hardeman, and on the next day, UC is set to host Bethel for the final game of the season.

The next week on Nov 10^th - 12^th, UC heads back to Bowling Green, KY for the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
