Bowling Green, KY – After putting in a solid weekend performance, Patriots outside hitter Allyson Grava takes home her first career MSC Attacker of the Week award, announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

For the weekend Grava came away with two double-doubles and tallied 51 kills at 3.19 kills per set. Along with the kills, she also had 52 digs averaging 3.25 digs per set, and seven service aces.

The Patriots opened the weekend against St. Andrews. In that match Grava notched eight kills. She followed that performance up with 13 kills and seven digs in a sweep over Keiser. On day two of the tournament, Grava notched back-to-back double-doubles. The first was against Blue Mountain, where she came away with 13 kill and 21 digs. Then ended the weekend with a 17 kills and 20 digs performance against Milligan.

Cumberlands will head back to Tennessee, to take on Tennessee Wesleyan on Tuesday at 6:30 before returning home Labor Day weekend to host the Cumberlands Invite.
