Bowling Green, KY – Allyson Grava led the Patriots high-octane offense this week which in turn led her to winning her second MSC Attacker of the Week honors. UC in is currently sitting 12-3 and is on an eight-game win streak.

Attacker of the Week

Grava tallied 36 kills in the week along with 23 digs and 3 aces. The Goodlettsville, TN native started the week off with a 13-kill performance against Pikeville. She also tallied two aces in the third set where Cumberlands rattled of 11 straight points to win the set 25-3. Then in the second and final game of the week against Shawnee State, she notched a double-double while recording a new career-high in kills. In that game, Grava had 23 kills and 18 digs to lead the Pats to a four-set victory.

For the season, Grava leads the team with 209 kills while averaging 3.80 kills per set. She has also tallied 173 digs, 17 aces, and 18 blocks. 

Cumberlands will head back north tomorrow Tuesday, September 13^th to take on conference foe Georgetown at 6:30 pm, before having a nine day break.
