Williamsburg, KY – The Patriots fell to 10^th ranked Georgetown in Williamsburg on Saturday afternoon. UC falls to 15-9 on the year and an even 9-9 in the Mid-South Conference. Cumberlands could not find a rhythm on the offensive end, shooting just 34.3% from the field, and 55.6% from the charity stripe.
 
J.J. Ramey led all Patriot scorers with 17 points off the bench. The junior added 5 boards and a steal as well. Kamari Kenemore had 13 pts, 2 reb, and 2 stl with Matt Cromer rounding out the Pats in double figures with 10 points.
 
The Tigers jumped out to an 18-5 lead after the first six minutes of play. A Lamar Harris Jr. layup followed by Cromer's first three of the night made it a 10 point game, the closest it would be for the rest of the night. GC scored 10 straight points before Steven Fitzgerald hit a triple, bringing the score to 30-13 with 9:45 to play in the half.
 
UC outscored the Tigers 25-22 over the remainder of the half. Both Isaiah Payton and Cromer knocked down a triple over this run with Ramey hitting two of his own. A pair of buckets from Hinson and Kenemore and a Jadrian Flores free throw made it 52-38 after the first half.
 
The second half was not kind to UC as they went 9-32 from the field, just 28.1%. Ramey stayed hot hitting his third three of the contest to open up the scoring to cut the deficit to 11. The Tigers answered with eight straight points before the Pats took a timeout.
 
Cumberlands could not get over the hump the rest of the half, trailing by double digits to the final buzzer. An Austin Hall alley oop to Ramey highlighted the remainder of the game for the Pats. The final horn sounded with Georgetown on top 90-70.
 
UC look to rebound next week at home as they host the Cumberland University Phoenix. Gametime is set for 7:30 PM ET Thursday the 9^th.
