Bowling Green, KY – The top-seeded Cumberlands men's tennis team earned a solid 4-1 win over fourth-seeded Campbellsville in the MSC Semifinals on Friday. The Patriots advance to face the winner of No. 2 seed Lindsey Wilson and No. 3 seed Cumberland in the championship match on Saturday.
Campbellsville took two of three doubles matches to jump out to an early 1-0 advantage.

Hung Ju Wu earned the lone doubles win for the Pats, defeating Nahuel Hernando and Nicholas Andrade 6-3 at the #1 spot.
Killian Surmont earned the first point of the day for UC, capturing a win in straight sets at #2 singles. The sophomore defeated Nahuel Hernando 6-4, 6-0 to even the score at one.
Wu continued his successful day with a singles win at the #4 spot. The senior took down Nicholas Andrade 6-3, 6-4 to put the Pats in front for the first time.
Liam Savio followed that up with a three-set victory at #3 singles. After dropping the first set, Savio responded with identical 6-3 wins in the final two sets to put the Pats up 3-1.
Pierluigi Cruypenninck solidified the win for UC with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Mario Sanchez at the #5 spot.
The MSC Championship match will take place on Saturday at 4 p.m. EST.
