Indianapolis, IN – The University of the Cumberlands Men's bowling team continued their fall schedule with a strong showing at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout this weekend. The Patriots placed 16th out of 29 varsity teams, knocking down a total of 9,073 pins through six team games and 16 baker games.
Freshman Trent Smallwood led the way for UC, placing 52nd overall with 1,225 pins across six games for a 204.2-pin average. Austin Nelson followed closely in 55th with 1,219 pins and a 203.2 average.
Noah Hall finished next for the Patriots, tallying 1,132 pins for a 188.7-pin average, while Austin Hale rounded out the lineup with 1,100 pins across six games for a 183.3 average and a 102nd-place finish.
The Patriots will return to action October 25-26 when they begin Mid-South Conference play at the MSC Greater Nashville Open in Smyrna, TN.
