Smyrna, TN – The University of the Cumberlands Men's bowling team opened Mid-South Conference play this weekend at the MSC Greater Nashville Open. The Patriots placed 15th out of 17 teams, knocking down 3,506 pins through four team games and 1,385 pins across eight baker games.
Trent Smallwood led the way for the Patriots, placing 55th overall with a total pinfall of 754 through four games for a 188.5-pin average. His best performance came in game four, where he rolled a 212.
Next for UC was Austin Hale, who finished 84th after knocking down 659 pins for a 164.8-pin average. Hale's best score came in game two with 207 pins.
Andrew Ketron followed, placing 100th overall with 571 pins across three games for a 190.3 average.
The Patriots will continue MSC action with the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament.
