                     Detroit, MI – The University of the Cumberlands men's bowling team wrapped up competition at the 54th Annual Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Championship over the weekend, placing 40th out of 51 varsity teams. The Patriots knocked down a total of 7,378 pins through five team games and 16 baker games.
 
Cody Lumpkins led the way for UC, finishing 78th overall with a total pinfall of 968 across five games for a 194-pin average.
 
Noah Hall and 
Austin Hale finished next for the Patriots, placing 105th and 106th, respectively. Hall totaled 928 pins for a 186 average, while Hale knocked down 924 pins for a 185 average.
 
Trent Smallwood knocked down 717 pins through four games for a 179-pin average.
 
Cumberlands will return to action October 11-12 when they travel to Indianapolis, IN, for the Columbia 300 Western Shootout.
