LYNCHBURG, VA – The Patriots closed out the Liberty Kickoff on Friday with a pair of solid women's performances to finish the two-day meet.
MaQuoia Raglan delivered UC's top mark of the day in the 200 meters, running 25.16 to place ninth overall in a deep collegiate field. Her time was the fastest of any NAIA athletes in the 200m on Friday.
UC also saw representation in the 60-meter hurdles, where
Aliah Laster ran 9.40 to finish among the top-20 competitors. Her effort added depth to UC's hurdles group as the Patriots continued building momentum through the opening weekend of competition.
The Patriots now look ahead to Saturday's Commonwealth Opener in Louisville, where they return to action for the third meet of the weekend.
