Williamsburg, KY – The #15 UC Men's Tennis team fell to #6 Lindsey Wilson, 4-1, Saturday afternoon on senior day, snapping a 13-match winning streak. Cumberlands honored seniors Pierluigi Cruypennick, Juanchi Alcon, and Karen Kondo.

The Blue Raiders grabbed an early 1-0 lead after taking the first two doubles matches to secure the point.

Lindsey Wilson kept that momentum going into singles play, winning the next two matches at the #1 and #2 spots to extend their lead to 3-0.

Luis Marcos cut the deficit to 3-1 with a 7-6, 6-1 win over German Delcanto at #3 singles.

It wouldn't be enough as Lindsey Wilson would clinch the overall team win at #5 singles, while the rest of the match was left unfinished.

UC will be back in action on Thursday April 17th as they hit the road to McKenzie, TN to take on Bethel.
