Louisville, KY – The University of the Cumberlands Men's Bowling team competed at the Mid-South Conference Lynne Jordan Memorial Tournament on Saturday, finishing seventh out of 14 teams. The Patriots knocked down a total of 5,404 pins through four team games and eight baker games.
Austin Hale led the way for UC, placing 25th overall with a total pinfall of 831 pins across four games for a 207.8-pin average. Hale posted consistent scores throughout the day, highlighted by a 222 in game two.
Trent Smallwood followed closely behind, finishing 27th overall with 827 pins for a 206.8 average. His top performance came in game one, where he rolled a 236.
Cody Lumpkins added a 37th-place finish after knocking down 793 pins across four games for a 198.3 average, while
Austin Nelson recorded 745 pins for a 186.3 average to place 54th overall.
Andrew Ketron contributed 615 pins across three games for a 205.0 average, and
Owen McClure rounded out the Patriots' efforts with a single-game score of 146.
UC will continue Mid-South Conference action tomorrow in Louisville, KY, competing in the MSC Thomas N. Burris Memorial.
