KANSAS CITY, MO – The University of the Cumberlands women's golf team climbed one spot to No. 14 in the final fall edition of the 2026-27 NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Rating, announced by the national office Friday. The Patriots received 265 points in the poll, moving up from No. 15 in the previous rating.
Cumberlands closes the fall portion of its schedule following a strong stretch of tournament performances. The Patriots captured the Tall Timber Invitational title in Eugene, Oregon, finishing 28 strokes ahead of the field. UC followed that performance with a runner-up finish at the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where Jasmine Points claimed individual medalist honors.
British Columbia retained the top spot with 443 points, followed by Southeastern (Fla.) at No. 2 with 436 points. Keiser (Fla.) ranked third with 431 points, while SCAD (Ga.) moved to fourth with 422 points. Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) rounded out the top five with 403 points.
The Patriots are one of four Mid-South Conference programs featured in the Top 25, joining No. 9 Lindsey Wilson, No. 16 Cumberland (Tenn.), and No. 21 Freed-Hardeman.
The NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Rating will resume in March as the Patriots prepare for the spring portion of their 2026-27 schedule.
