WILLIAMSBURG, KY – University of the Cumberlands women's golfer Jasmine Points has been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. The honor comes after Points captured the individual title at the MSC Fall Preview last week.

The Suffolk, England native topped the 46-player field at Bowling Green Country Club, carding a three-round total of 221 (+5). Points opened the tournament with a 75 (+3) before firing a two-under-par 70 in the second round. The sophomore closed with a 76 (+4) to secure medalist honors.

Points recorded nine birdies throughout the tournament while leading the No. 15 Patriots to a runner-up finish in the seven-team field with a team score of 935 (+71).

The recognition marks Points' first MSC Women's Golfer of the Week honor this season and the second for Cumberlands women's golf this fall, joining Atchariya Thanaudomkul, who earned the honor on October 19.
