Bowling Green, KY – For the second straight week, Patriots freshman defender Vlada Milovic has been named the MSC Defensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

Milovic anchored the Patriots defense to a shutout win over Freed-Hardeman in the MSC Quarterfinals.  The freshman was a key part of UC's backline that limited the Lions to just one shot, no shots on goal, in the match.  It was also the Patriots ninth clean sheet on the year and their fourth in the last five matches.

In addition to her defensive efforts, Milovic recorded her first collegiate assist when she sent a booming kick forward to Laura Bosca, who got behind the defense and scored in the 56'.

Cumberlands advances to the MSC semifinals, where they will face third-seed and eighth-ranked Lindsey Wilson.  That match is slated for Wednesday, November 4th at 4 p.m.
