Louisville, KY – The University of the Cumberlands Men's Bowling team closed out the weekend at the Mid-South Conference Thomas N. Burris Memorial on Sunday, finishing 14th out of 14 teams. The Patriots knocked down a total of 4,918 pins through four team games and eight baker games during the event.
Austin Nelson led the way for UC, placing 49th overall after knocking down 772 pins across four games for a 193.0-pin average. Nelson's best score came in game one with a 220.
Trent Smallwood followed for the Patriots, finishing 67th overall with a total pinfall of 700 pins for a 175.0 average. Austin Hale was next, placing 72nd with 660 pins across four games for a 165.0 average.
Andrew Ketron contributed 569 pins across three games for a 189.7 average, while Cody Lumpkins added 523 pins in three games for a 174.3 average. Owen McClure rounded out UC's lineup with 390 pins across two games for a 195.0 average.
The Patriots will be back in action February 5–7 when they compete in the Mid-South Conference Championship.
