Rome, GA – The No. 8 Cumberlands Patriots men's tennis continued their strong run at the ITA NAIA National Indoor Tennis Championship on Saturday morning, earning a 4–0 sweep over No. 7 Holy Cross Saints men's tennis at the Rome Tennis Center.
Cumberlands set the tone early in doubles play, capturing the opening point behind convincing wins on courts one and three. The top pairing of Darius Kuster and Gabriele Solda rolled to a 6–2 victory, while the duo of Mohammed Abuzed Saber and Jacopo Cianfarini matched that score on court three to secure the doubles point.
Momentum carried into singles as the Patriots quickly clinched the match. Solda delivered a straight-set decision at No. 3 singles (6–3, 6–2), followed by Kesia Roi's 6–4, 6–2 win on court five. Abuzed Saber capped the sweep with a dominant performance at No. 6, posting a 6–0, 6–2 victory.
With the result, Cumberlands improves to 3–2 overall and advances to the fifth-place match, scheduled for Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
