BIRMINGHAM, AL – UC's women finished their weekend at the UAB Invite in four separate sprint events including the 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m, and 400m dashes.
 
The day started in the 60m dash where Abia Kante clocked a 7.76 for13th overall. Ritorion Vigne followed just behind with a 7.78 while Allie Bryson crossed the finish lien in 8.06.
 
Aliah Laster was the lone Patriot hurdler on Saturday, running a 10.14 in the 60m H for 31^st overall.
 
The 200m and 400m saw MaQuoia Raglin and Lillian Guzman post strong finishes in Birmingham. Raglin ran a 25.00 for 16^th in the 200m followed by Kante's 25.32 for 22^nd. Guzman also finished in the top-25 with a 25.45 200m finish.
 
Guzman led UC in the 400m dash with a 57.90 for 15^th while Raglin came in at 58.49 for 20^th, respectively.
 
Cumberlands will be back next week for the Music City Challenge in their last meet before the MSC Indoor Championships.
