Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the 2026 NAIA Men's Scholar All-Americans, with 10 University of the Cumberlands wrestlers earning the prestigious honor for their accomplishments in the classroom and on the mat.

The Patriots recognized as NAIA Men's Scholar All-Americans are Derrick Bannister, Malachia Harris, Jovon Howe, Lincoln Krull, Marc LeGaspe, Ayden Lehman, Hunter Luttrell, Nathan Marquez, Corbin Melvin, and Matteo Vargo.

These exceptional student-athletes have excelled both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following criteria: a 3.0 cumulative GPA, a national qualifier as determined by the NAIA and a 3.25 cumulative GPA, conference tournament participant and a 3.5 cumulative GPA, or wrestled in at least 15 competitions as listed in TrackWrestling. 

A total of 261 student-athletes representing 50 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
