Williamsburg, KY – The #7 Patriots men's tennis team fell 4-0 to Jacksonville State on Thursday afternoon at the UC Tennis Complex. With the loss, the Patriots move to 7-4 on the season while Jacksonville State improves to 9-2. 

Jacksonville State claimed the early momentum by securing the doubles point with wins on courts two and three. At No. 2 doubles, Marko Milosavljevic and David Krasner defeated Jacopo Cianfarini and Mohammed Abuzed Saber 6-3, while Lucius Soller and Matei Palcau sealed the point with a 6-4 victory over Manuel Fernandez Guede and Kesia Roi at No. 3 doubles. The No. 1 doubles match between Darius Kuster and Gabriele Solda and Jacksonville State's Timo De Visser and Aman Dahiya went unfinished with the Patriots leading 4-2. 

In singles play, Jacksonville State secured three straight-set victories to clinch the match. At the top spot, David Krasner defeated Jacopo Cianfarini 6-2, 6-3. Aman Dahiya followed with a tight win at No. 2 singles, edging Darius Kuster 6-2, 7-6 (8-2). The clinching point came at No. 4 singles where Marko Milosavljevic topped Thibaud Vivier 6-4, 6-1. 

Three matches remained unfinished after the match was decided. At No. 3 singles, Gabriele Solda split the first two sets with Timo De Visser before the match was halted. Kesia Roi was battling Matei Palcau at No. 5 singles, while Mohammed Abuzed Saber was competing against Lucius Soller at the No. 6 position. 

The Patriots are back on the court on Friday, March 6, with a home match against #16 Huntington (Ind.). The first serve is slated for 1:00 PM.
