WILLIAMSBURG, KY – For the third straight season, the Patriots have been selected to host the First and Second Rounds of the NAIA National Tournament. Cumberlands earned an at-large bid into the 64-team field and enters as the No. 4 seed with a 23-7 overall record. UC will take on No. 13 seed Indiana Tech in the first round on Friday March 13^th at 3 PM ET, while No. 5 seed William Carey faces No. 12 seed Xavier University of Louisiana in the other first-round matchup right after at 6 PM on the 13^th of March. The Second Round will be played the next day on Saturday March 14^th at 4 PM ET.
 
Cumberlands continues to establish itself as one of the NAIA's premier postseason programs, ranking second among all schools in this year's 64-team field with 33 national tournament appearances. The Patriots earned their at-large bid following a 23-win regular season and a strong finish in Mid-South Conference play.
 
UC will square off against Indiana Tech in the opening game. The Warriors enter as the No. 13 seed after earning an automatic bid as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular season runner-up. Indiana Tech carries a 22-7 record into the tournament and is making its 16th appearance in the NAIA National Tournament.
 
William Carey will make the trip to Williamsburg as the No. 5 seed after compiling a 27-4 record and earning the automatic bid as regular season champions of the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Crusaders are making their 15th NAIA National Tournament appearance and will open play against No. 12 seed Xavier University of Louisiana.
 
Xavier earned an at-large bid out of the Red River Athletic Conference and enters the postseason with a 20-10 record. The Gold Rush are making their 24th appearance in the NAIA National Tournament and bring significant postseason experience into the Williamsburg bracket.
 
The winner of the First and Second Round hosted in Williamsburg will advance to the NAIA Final Site in Kansas City, Missouri, where the Round of 16 is scheduled to begin later this month inside Municipal Auditorium.
