GAINESVILLE, FL – The University of the Cumberlands women's track & field team saw a pair of All-American performances Friday at the 2026 NAIA Indoor National Championships, highlighted by a podium finish in the 3000-meter race walk.
Heather Durrant led the way with a third-place finish in 14:20.10 to earn All-American honors and score six team points.
Lilian Bittencourt added another All-American performance, placing eighth in 15:55.98 to pick up one point.
Hannah Durrant finished ninth in 16:33.95, just outside All-American position, while
Lucy Sullivan placed 11th in 16:48.69.
In the field events,
Abia Kante competed in the long jump final, finishing 15th overall with a mark of 5.55m (18-2½).
On the track in the prelim rounds,
Ritorion Vigne represented the Patriots in the 60-meter dash, clocking 7.61 to place 12th overall. Her time narrowly missed out on the finals.
MaQuoia Raglin followed in the 200m, finishing 17
th in 24.88.
UC's mid-distance featured
Alex Cundiff who competed in the 800-meter prelims. She placed 17th overall in 2:18.95.
The Patriots currently sit in 18
th in the team standings with seven points. Dickinson St. leads the way with 20 points with Central Methodist in second with 19. Ottawa round out the top three with 16 team points.
