UC Finish Weekend in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, KY – The University of the Cumberlands women's track & field team wrapped up competition at the Clark Wood Invitational with solid performances across the track and field events while Heather Durrant represented the Pats at the Penn Relays in the racewalk.
 
Durrant hit an A standard time of 24:26.77 for the second fastest time in the NAIA. She placed 11th against elite professionals.
 
In Louisville, Ritorion Vigne led the Patriots in the 100 meters, placing 27th with a time of 11.96. Allie Bryson followed with a season-best 12.50 to place 60th.
 
In the 1500 meters, Alex Cundiff paced Cumberlands with a personal-best 4:48.03 to place 29th. Anslee Crosby also recorded a personal-best, finishing 51st in 5:04.78.
 
Lillian Guzman led the way in the 400 meters, placing 25th with a time of 56.87. A'yana Gray followed with a season-best 1:03.77 to place 67th.
 
In the field events, Kaielle Gray cleared 1.53 meters to place eighth in the high jump. Kelsie Peavler represented the Patriots in the discus, recording a mark of 30.49 meters to place 31st.
 
Cumberlands will now look forward next weekend where they will compete in the 2026 Mid-South Conference Outdoor Championships. Events will begin on Sunday in Columbia, KY.
