Satti Named CSC Academic All-America Team Member of the Year; Geddis Garners All-America Honors

Austin, TX – Patriots men's swimmer senior Ruthiik Satti caps off an historic career being named the 2025-26 NAIA CSC Men's Swimming & Diving Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year, officials announced Wednesday.  In addition to Satti, junior Adam Geddis garnered CSC Academic All-America® honors for the first time as a Patriot.
 
Satti and Geddis were pivotal contributors throughout the season as Cumberlands captured the Mid-South Conference Championship before posting a national runner-up finish at the 2026 NAIA National Championship.  The duo combined for six NAIA All-American honors and nine MSC All-Conference accolades this season.
 
Satti becomes the first Patriot men's swimmer in program history to earn Team Member of the Year honors, while being the second UC swimmer to garner multiple Academic All-America honors.  Satti had a strong senior campaign, highlighted by going 48.09 to win the 100 back national title.  The senior also went 1:46.46 to place fourth in the 200 back.  In addition to his individual success, Satti was part of UC's 200 medley relay (1:27.87) and 400 medley relay (3:13.19) that broke the school record and recorded runner-up finishes.  Throughout his career, the Hyderabad, India native displayed versatility focusing on backstroke and fly.  Over his four years at UC, Satti is a 17x NAIA All-American and a 13x MSC First Team All-Conference selection. During his junior campaign, Satti was named the Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Year, breaking the meet record in the 100 back with a time of 49.35.  The seniors holds the second fastest time in program history in the 100 back (48.02), while being ranked third in the 200 back (1:46.28).   Satti is also ranked fourth in both the 100 fly (48.57) and the 200 IM (1:50.59).  Satti is majoring in Business Administration at UC.
 
Geddis earned Academic All-America® honors after tallying a pair NAIA All-American honors this season. The Dungannon, Ireland native scored in four events at the national championships, including being part of Cumberlands 200 free and 400 free relays that posted third place finishes.  Those relays teams broke the school record going 1:20.04 and 2:54.89, respectively.  Geddis also scored in thew 50 free and the 200 free as he placed 11th overall.  The junior notched a runner-up finish in the 100 back (50.00) before finishing third in the 50 free (20.65) at the MSC Championships.  Geddis earned MSC Swimmer of the Week honors during the week of November 10th and was a strong swimmer for the Pats throughout the year.  He was a NAIA Scholar-Athlete and is majoring in Business Administration at UC.
 
The CSC NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Academic All-America® program features ten student-athletes that have an average GPA of 3.81.
