Northborough, MA – The Patriots women's lacrosse team found success on the field, while also excelling in the classroom to earn multiple IWLCA Academic Honors, it was announced Wednesday.  The Patriots were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, while nine players were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.

UC was one of eight NAIA women's lacrosse programs to be named an Academic Honor Squad.  The IWLCA recognized 383 schools across all divisions with this honor.  To be eligible teams have a 3.2 GPA or higher for the academic year.

The Patriots had all nine upperclassmen be named to the NAIA Academic Honor Roll, while across the NAIA 54 student-athletes from 10 institutions earned this award.  To be eligible, each person must be at least a junior with a minimum GPA of 3.50.

Koral Hadac, Reese Kincaid, Tess Lisy, Anna Lobbezoo, Emma Rittman, Madison Rupp, and Jenna Veech earned this distinction for the second straight season.  The duo of Ashlee Baker and Sarah Linam joined that group earning this honor for the first time. 

The Patriots went 20-2 last season en route to winning the AAC Regular Season and Tournament titles.  UC went on to defeat #7 Ave Maria 14-11 in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Tournament.
