London, KY –  Cumberlands archery opened its 3D campaign with a strong performance at the USA 3D Southeast Regionals on Friday afternoon at the Laurel County Fairgrounds. The Patriots captured four regional titles and recorded 22 top-five finishes across the competition, while Ludvig Rohlin shattered the men's barebow school record. UC also advanced 23 archers to the MSC 3D Championships, which is set for Saturday, September 19^th.

Rohlin, Ayla Mills, Lanie Nish, and Jackson Ratajczak each captured regional titles in their respective divisions.  Additionally, UC swept the podium in both the women's compound divisions.

Rohlin, a freshman from Sweden, set the tone early carding a 406 with seven bonus rings to etch his name into the program record books.  Rohlin broke the school record by 24 points.  Teammate Chase White notched a runner-up finish with a 348, while Nico Powell tallied a 323 to place fifth and advance to tomorrow's conference championship.

Mills utilized consistent shooting on the day to finish atop the women's fixed pins division.  The junior opened with a 206 and followed that up with a 204 to close out the day with a 410, and a three-point victory. Newcomer Odessa Cornick was one spot back tallying a 407 with ten bonus rings, while Hannah Summers completed the podium sweep with a 406.  Anslee Roberson rallied in the second round with a 208 climbing to fourth place after finishing with 403. 

The Patriots also swept the podium finish in the women's compound division as Nish paced the field.  The junior picked up right where she left off last season recording a career-best score of 442.  Nish hit 12 bonus rings and posted the fourth-best qualifying score in program history.  Savannah Hoffman notched a 434 with 18 bonus rings to place second, while Chloe McElroy finished third with a 424 and 18 bonus rings.

Ratajczak collected UC's final individual title, carding a 438.  The junior notched 19 bonus rings to post the second-best qualifying score in program history.  Bennett Schuler tallied a third place finish after carding a 416 with 11 bonus rings.

Cumberlands had four archers advance to the MSC Championship in the women's recurve division.  Maria Nunez Montes will be the top-seed tomorrow after posting a runner-up finish with a score of 394.  Alina Distelberg carded a 389 to place third, while Sheridan Weaver finished fifth with a career-best score of 370.  Lydia Haskamp advanced to tomorrow with a 370 and five bonus rings.

UC had a trio of top-five finishers in the men's compound division.  Zachary Neilson and Owen Frohmader each tallied a 442 on the day to earn podium finishes, however, Neilson captured the runner-up finish on bonus ring count 22-21.  Landyn Cox finished just off the podium with a 440 to finish fourth. 

The Patriots notched a trio of top-five finishes in the women's barebow division.  Newcomer Reagan Van Dy used a strong second round to close out the day with a  326 and a third place finish.  Sydnie Wells and Isabell Lehsten finished tied at 325 posting the eight best qualifying score in program history. 

In the men's recurve division, freshman Jack Schollmeyer carded a 383 with two bonus rings to earn a third-place finish.

Cumberlands returns to the range Saturday, September 19^th, when they compete in the MSC 3D Championship at the UC All-Purpose Field.  The competition will begin at 8 a.m. with individual shoot-downs followed by team rounds.
